as salaamu aleykum warahmatullaah,

wow...i know it has been awhile since i have blogged and i totally miss it cuz bloggin is pretty much a way to express oneself to the world (though maybe only one or two ppl are reading this) i have not been able to do so due to school work and daily routines and whatever else that comes up anytime between the day and night! inshaa Allaah i plan on keeping up with bloggin no matter what the circumstance and i also have few lessons that i have learned since i last blogged.......one being PATIENCE once again even though i have already covered that...i cannot EMPHASIZE the importance of being patient with whatever situation that you are in, cuz it may be better for you that you are in that situation or it is a simple test to purify you! know that nothing happens without the will of Allaah and you can only do so much...the most powerful being du'aa! be grateful to your Lord who sustains you and provide you with everything you have......subhaan Allaah!! i cannot even write properly cuz i want to write so many things that are related to patience...it's like 2:30 am so...imma just stop there for now and continue 2morrow inshaa Allaah!

in just One dAy!!!

as salaamu aleykum warahmatullaah,

You know, subhaan Allaah we can accomplish so much in a day I never knew that because I don't usually dedicate my day to accomplish something rather I do what I need to do and if I am done doing whatever I needed to do, I waste the day...youtubin, msn, or just layin around and so many other habits that are non beneficial...let's face it people none of us are perfect but we can try our best to be among the best of people who get only what they need out of this world and prepare themselves for the next, I mean seriously when you look back and think about how much time you spend doing things that are not necessary for us to do, how much time are we losing? and.....imagine how much reward you will get when you spend that time in things that please our Lord, it could be anything...spend it in remembrance of Allaah, clean up, cook for family, read the Quraan, see the beauty of nature (His creation) or just look at yourself in the mirror and see that Allaah is the one who created you and sustains you in every breath that you take, everything that you see, everything that you hear, everything that you smell, and taste Allaah is the source of your EXISTANCE; why do we forget that, why do we use his blessings to/and forget him?...there are so much things to do that pleases our Lord and you get so much reward for doing them; basically getting what you need from this world and preparing for the next inshaa Allaah! I start with myself first and foremost because Today is the day i realized how much we can accomplish in a day; a whole lot even if it s just 30 mins making thikr! let's not go in details of what I accomplished...you should just try and SEE what YOU can accomplish!....yeah I know I might just be bit too behind but yeah I guess a reminder once in awhile can only do good! May Allaah grant us tawfeeq in this life and next for His tawfeeq is the BEST!

SpReAd the SalaAmZ!!

As salaamu aleykum!

These days we see a lot of Muslims wherever we go...to the groceries, banks, school, work wherever....we sometimes forget how important they are to us...they are our brothers and sisters who adhere to LA ILAAH ILL ALLAAH: the bond that never breaks; so it is a great reward to say the salaams (of course only to the sis but to the bros, say it in your heart cuz we dont want to boost their egos thinkin that we like them or somethin... i dunno what i wanted to say but YOU KNOW what i mean inshaa Allaah) so anywho yeah like totally..... i know some people you want to greet either look down or look the opposite way to ignore you but hey say it anyway...you won't lose anything; i learned to deal with rejection and still am...so yeah lets spread the salaam because it brings us closer!! salaams.....pass it on!

LunAr EcLipSe!

as salaamu aleykum warahmatullaah,

Today well (it would technically be yesterday cuz its now way passed midnight) anywho...we were supposed to see Lunar Eclipse but it was too cloudy/rainy here in houston so unfortunately we were not able to see it with our own eyes to pray salaatul kusoof, I very recently learned this myself and I thought it would be interesting to share...so basically when we see lunar or solar eclipse we are supposed to pray for it is one of the signs of Allaah. Our prophet used to rush to go lead the people in prayer when he saw an eclipse. He told them that we should pray, seek forgiveness, and do good deeds. The prayer has to be done as soon as the person sees the lunar eclipse, not when the eclipse is over. May Allaah make us among those whom worship him with complete sincerity. Aameen!

“And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Prostrate yourselves not to the sun” nor to the moon, but prostrate yourselves to Allaah Who created them, if you (really) worship Him” (Fussilat 41:37)

Islaam; The truth

Bismillaah,

I shall introduce our beautiful deen (religion) first and foremost because my reason for doing this is to remind those who are Muslims of our duties and those who aren't to learn about our deen......by Allaah's permission.....so yeah well where do I start? First and foremost...whom so ever you are out there seeking understanding about our religion...read the Quraan; I challenge you to do so...you do not have to believe it just read it with great sincerity! CNN ain't the best source out there...might just be the source of total misconception!! even i am just an average "muslimah" with very limited knowledge but will try my best to share what I know...so we believe in One God/Allaah and that Muhammad is His last and final messenger......we believe in what has been revealed to us before the Quraan (torah...gospel) and those whom the revelation was revealed to; such as Jesus.....Moses.....Abraham and so on! Our last prophet was given the Quraan to purify/complete our religion because the purity of the previous revelation was corrupt over time and also the Quraan (true words of God with 100% authenticity) was sent to mankind and the prophet was sent as a mercy to ALL mankind, not just arabs! so if you also get a chance/time, you should read about this beautiful creation named Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him)!

oh humanity it is 2008....shall we still be ignorant towards our fellow humans? The least we could do is understand each other's beliefs and respect one another....but if you want to go beyond that, you are most welcomed to adhere to this beautiful way of life for it is the true way to paradise....I invite whom so ever is interested to Islaam...we tend to recommend good restaurants, movies, and whatever else we like to those whom we care about so I totally recommend this beautiful religion to YOU! yes, you who do not believe yet (for this shall be the best recommendation ever)! I love this beautiful faith and I know you will too once you understand it!

shall I tell you about one of the best surahs in the Quraan that proves the Oneness of Allaah? but you shall read more to learn more! may Allaah guide us all to the most righteous path.......aameen yaa Rabb!
Bismillaah Ar-Rahmaan Ar-Raheem

And there is nothing comparable to Him."

Patience

As salaamu aleykum warahmatullaah,

well.......i am pretty much writing to myself cuz ain't nobody gonna read my posts (yet anytime soon at least) so anyway it's 4:50 am and i'm still awake so i thought i should just yeah post something and be familiar with this blogging thing cuz i dont blog...now i guess i must! so yaa3nee hmmm any ideas? what exactly should I be posting......hmmmmm we shall never know until i reach decision........we shall be patient...oh speaking of patience, as you may have known patience in islaam is one of the most important characteristic of a Muslim therefore we shall show our sign of the Muslim character through our patience where ever we may be inshaa Allaah. Sometimes we tend to ignore these very important things because we do not reflect! Even when you are driving down the road and you happened to be behind a slow/est driver, don't try to see if the driver is Asian or make faces........this is wrong! so if in this not-so-big-of-a-deal situation, you cannot be patient, what about in a bigger situation...will you then blow up in anger? just a reminder for myself and others!! may Allaah grant us true patience.......aameen yaa Rabb!

"Oh you who believe! Seek help with patient perseverance and prayer, for God is with those who patiently persevere."
